Default AC R45TS Plugs in a stock L-48
Do you guys recommend the stock AC plugs or is there something better? The ones I just took out were not AC. They have a Y type split tip on them.

What you took out are Split-fire plugs. Lars recommends Autolites and has comapred the Split-fires to them with out seeing any difference in performance. I just bought Split-fires for mine . I couldn't tell any difference from the AC plugs that were in it.

I know that a lot of Folks are not too big on Split-Fires......seems like most people prefer the Delco's

I have the Delco Rapid-Fires. Car seemed a little quicker after installing.
Go figure.

I have the stock AC plugs in my modified engine and they work fine.

I am running AC45 plugs and they are much better thant he Bosch plugs I had before.
