Yea...ZZ502 and gas mileage in the same sentence are kinda an oxymoron.
At best, maybe 10? I am just guessing here.

I have the GM 502 , running it with a 68 tri power set up. Mind you, I dont have roller rockers, (the ZZ 502 does). Its about 10-12 MPG. If I disconnect the outboard carbs, about 15.

I hate to say it but a C3 bigblock, who cares about MPG :D That is not an issue with these cars. If you want gas mileage, then this is not the car for you. My stock LS4 gets 13.
With these cars I really think it is a competition to see who gets the worse mileage :rolleyes:

With my ZZ/502 dual quad setup, I get 15-17 highway mileage (running on primaries), believe it or not! Oh yeah, I also have a Richmond overdrive...... Around town, FORGET IT!
