Dropped price on vette, need to sell
Hey all, sorry to post off topic but just wanted to let you all know, I've dropped my price on my 77. I need to sell since I have been out of work for 5 months. I really feel the car is a great deal and $6,500 is too low, but I really need the money. I would never sell this car otherwise.
You can see it here: http://vettefinders.com/index.cfm?fu...il&id=2403&g=3
Thanks, email me with questions. Here's your chance to steal one.
Tom

I'm pushin' this thing back to the top... If I had been on the forum (two years ago when I bought my ragged out '76) instead of just a long-term vette fan, and seen this kind of an ad, I would still have $10K in my pocket and a great $6500 car. Good luck to you and the buyer.

Hello
I am interested in your car. Do you know whats wrong with the A/C? Is the interior very nice. How about the weatherstrip? When you say you had the rearend rebuilt does that mean the gears the trailing arms or both.
Please email me at abadcorvet@aol.com .

Tom sorry to hear about your bad luck.
Hope it gets better real soon, and remember, if the 13 year old kid gets to stay without a vette so can you

Sorry you have to sell buddy but I completely understand. These are rough economic times for alot of folks. I will pass this around to some of my buddies that might be interested. Best of luck with a new job and I am sure you will have another fantastic vette again. :seeya

Sorry to hear you have to sell. I'm in the same boat as you are at the moment, only I've only been unemployed for 3 months. I'm hoping to shove the Vette back in a corner and not have to sell her.
We'll see if the wife goes for it! Afterall, I am selling her Honda Van!
Good Luck - David

If you truley love this car, i am sure you can find a way to get by untill things get better. Then when that happins you can spend your extra money on the vette and make it even nicer than it is now. You can do it, have faith. :yesnod:

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I certainly plan on getting another one someday if I can get back in the black. We all love our vettes, but hey when it comes down to it, its only a material item, and my kids can't eat it!

I feel bad for you bud.. I am so sorry things have gone wrong for you lately. I'm sure you've considered all options and made a decision that is right for you and your family. Don't give up hope, keep plugging away and I'm sure things will get better. I'm also sure that you'll be back in the drivers seat shortly... back, and bigger than ever. Think big block next time, and all your current troubles will be a distant memory. From one Illinois Vette'r to another, I wish you the best of luck in your job search. Remember, where there's joy, peace, love and family, you will persevere.
