Seat Belt/Ignition Warning Buzzer for '77
The original owner of my Vette apparently pulled this buzzer out of the fuse panel at some point. They have been discontinued by GM and I have been trying to track down one for over a year. Any leads given to me over the past year have failed to turn one up. If you have one lying around I am sure I have somthing in my boxes of NOS goodies that you would like to replace it with.

Hey Binnie: Have you tried Gary Gruhala? He was parting out a 77 last time I talked to him. Here's his info. 636-586-3909 gruhala@jcn1.com

Be careful what you wish for
Mine has a separate key buzzer and seat buzzer. What a PITA!! :smash:
Everytime you or a passenger wiggled in the seat the seat buzzer went off and boy was it LOUD. You'd have to unhook the seatbelt, let it retract and reconnect it to reset the buzzer  (I now have the buzzer in a box for a future owner).
The key buzzer had a problem with the switch in the column and would buzz whenever the door was open whether or not the key was in. Found it was easier to pull the buzzer than remove the ignition switch to troubleshoot. Besides..I NEVER leave the keys in the car when I get out anyway. Don't need the FEDS to tell me that with a buzzer

After looking myself for over 3 months, I was able to secure one from GEE and SONS Corvette Parts last spring....worth a try 570-376-3421 PA. I disassembled my old one to see if I could salvage any parts, to no avail. If you come up with one let us know. Good Luck!

Here's something to try if you know the part number. Go to http://www.google.com, type in the part number and have Google search the web. I did this for a relay, and it found the same "Corvette" part used on a bunch of other GM vehicles and one of the Chevelle parts suppliers had it.
