a lesson in GLASS DATE CODES
Browzing around Larry's wonderful 1971 Corvette Registry tonight got me to looking at my date codes on my glass. Here is what I have:
Driver side VT
Pass side NN (only one that makes sense)
Rear win TT
Was it common to have a car off the assembly line with diferent date codes all the way around? TT and VT don't even show up on Larry's list for 71. What months are those?

I realize that you didn't ask about the windshield (both of mine have been replaced as well - after 30 years they have usually taken a beating), but I'll pass this along. For early 1971s (to about VIN 5000), the glass should be LOF Safety Plate... After that VIN you see the appearance of Safety Flo-Lite (both tinted - tinted glass became standard with the 1970 model year).
The dates for your door and rear glass look OK to me! :)

WOW - great glass info! I'll add that to the site.
I gotta start thinking by model year and checking data sources here!
