I may be putting some chrome tips on my car. These tips are 2.5 inch inlet (will fit my exhaust) and have dual chrome tips on each individual tip. So that would be 4 total and they all seem to be about 2.5 or 3 inches. My question is, how will this change my sound from the plain 2.5 inch pipe coming out of each muffler?

Should quiet things down a bit. That's why you see them on so many cars these days.
