Edlebrock Carb. Advise
Does anyone have experience with the Edlebrock Performer series carburetors? Looking for opinions on the 600 cfm or 750 cfm for a 350 engine.

They are smooth, reliable carbs that hold an adjustment, cold start on one blip and DO NOT stumble off- idle! I have two 600's on my 502- runs like a clock!

They are good carbs....However I am hving problems with mine bogging off the line..I think however that the secondaries are coming in too soon....But they run fantastic and fuel economy is great as well......I have the 600cfm

I have the 600cfm model number 1406. I as having trouble with the idle, just couldn't get it to idle down. Found that I had a leak in the venturi. Called Edelbrock and they sent me another one right away. This one runs great!!! Couldn't be happier with the carb or the company!

I have the 750cfm Electric Choke Performer and could not be happier. It was easy to set up for a novice. Holds its tune. Looks great and is very reliable. Not to mention alot cheaper than some of the alternatives. Only draw back from some post members is that they give up some compared to holley or demons on the top end. But I will take driveability over WOT max performance anyday.

I bought a 600 CFM Edelbrock. I can't get the damn thing to run worth beans when it is cold. I've adjusted the mixture, opened the choke soome, but when it is cold, IT WILL NOT RUN right. If I try to give it a little gas it bogs down. I really have to shove down on the pedal top get enough gas to make it accelerate. It misses terribly when cold. It wasn't doing any of this with the original quadrajet that had never been rebuilt.

I drove my 600cfm on that olds year round....when I lived at home all three of my parents cars froze up on a -25 degree day....mine turned over with one crank and two pumps before start with the pedal....and it took me under 3 minutes to set the choke the first winter .....never again had to adjust it...
