New member from Ontario Canada
Am the owner of a tired 1974 coupe. It needs a lot of restoration work as it was neglected. After years of watching it deteriorate in a yard I told the owner I would buy it if he got it to my driveway. Lo and behold a tow truck arrived. I had hoped he would drive it. Looking forward to getting help in this forum and would like to hear from others in Ontario Canada for references on body shops, engine shops, parts, tips etc etc. Will post photos on the project as soon as I figure out how.

Welcome!!
I know Ontario is pretty small and all, eh. But can you be a little more specific about where Manitouwadge is? :D

Located 250 miles north of Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. Mid way between the Sault and Thunder Bay. The Hemlo gold fields are right at the corner of the highway into our little town. Look at a map of Lake Superior, find the northern most point and look about 40 miles inland. See web pages

Not the easiest place to find a dealer for Corvette parts.

Welcome RJ, we were all new at some point. Sounds like you have a project
ahead of you. No better way to become an expert.
This forum certainly speeds up the process.

Welcome from "across the pond".
Having just got yerself a Vette project puts you on the bottom steps of your own Stairway to Heaven (cue for 67HEAVEN if ever I saw one  ).
Are you going for a full body off resto, or a "do just what needs doing" to get on the road? If you're going for the 2nd option take it easy - I just checked my spare tyre & now the entire rear is ripped out of the car :( Nothing wrong with any of it - just thought it could do with a paint & clean up. Think I had a funny 5 mins :) Just trying to say be careful & don't get carried away, otherwise you'll be doing an unplanned full body off resto!!
