Can someone suggest a company with a quality 3" to 4" rise cowl hood for my 69 vette, I am looking for the 69 Z28 style cowl.

You might want to try the L88 hood. It is a 3 incher and looks good as well.

No flares, but I do have plans for 17 in. rims. The sarcasm is o.k. L71 is probably one of those resto guys, "gotta have a tar top battery and ancient red line skinny tires!". Myself, I like to build fast cars and have future plans for a blower. He (or she) would probably be interested in my 69 convertable, with 51,000 original documented miles on it, my friend had it sitting in his garage for the last 15 years! I have already put a suspension kit in it, and have a 385 horse crate motor, still trying to figure out the six speed. Seems like it is going to be a tight fit.

By the way Eckler's doesn't seem to have much in the line of C3 hoods, any other suggestions? And who is ACI?
