My 2K1 Corvette season has ended. It is snowing here, and on the way back from the store (In the Saturn) I passed the first salt truck of the year. Looks like it is time to park the Vette and get the snow tires and snow shovels out!

Earliest snow? We had a 16 inch snow storm 3 weeks ago and that was the latest snow in many years. And only 16 inches, then a 3 week clear up, it's unheard of in these parts. :D

Hi
Same cold winter in Luxembourg, Europe.
Only positive thing about this is, that we always know when fixing time comes up and don't need to feel sorry to take our Vettes off the road. :D
I will soon start working on a roll bar. Will make a sample out of steel and possibly get it made up out of stainless.
Is there any good chroming place around Luxembourg ? May be Germany ?
Depending on how good the sample comes out, I might just get it chromed.
Will see how this works out.
Problem is that I still have to get the softtop stored and closed the normal way. Any ideas ?
For all the non winter guys, I hope you enjoy driving your Vettes as much as I do after winter season.
Man, I'm jealous. :mad

:(
No snow here yet, I'm crossing my fingers. When it does snow we usually get 4-6 inches at a time. 1993 though we got 26 in one snow storm

Having been born and raised with 4 seasons, I say, "Bring it on." :yesnod:
I tried Texas once for 14 months, 2 days, 7 hours and 12 minutes. Nice people, but seasonal change runs deep.

The only problem I see with not having to out my baby to bed for the winter is I hate tearing her apart to repair/rebuild something because I would much rather be out driving :yesnod: :yesnod: I agree with you ykp53, but down here in Round Rock we get Rainy and Windy (Spring), Hot and Windy (Summer), Rainy and Windy (Fall) and Cold and windy (Winter). Its been raining here off and on for about a week and my car has nooooooo traction in the rain (ZZ4 and all)
