New 80 Vett to the board...
Hello, I finally decided to find a corvette forum.. so here I am, I am bringing along my pride and joy "aren't they all" my black 80 corvette. Currently She's going through some major chang overs, and repairs. I am in the process of fitting a 87 master cylinder and booster to her, and making the reserviors remote. At the same time I am building a twin turbo engine which I am almost done with. I have hopes of being completed by march, inluding a new paint job which I am also learning to do my self at this time. "but not doing to well with it" but by march she will be all cleaned up and ready to go. Unfortunatly not show ready though, She used to be show ready but since then we Met a Very Very large rock on the side of the road. I cannot seem to fully restore the correct seam lines. The frame shop said that who ever had the car before me had crashed it and rebuilt the body around a bent frame, so when I had the frame fixed the body became crooked.. but I have it strait now. Anyways, I am blabbling now.. so I should stop.
I hope to meet some fellow corvette lovers out there as well as here in washington.
Here is a CRAPPY pic of my car..

Welcome!
Love the '80s. :D
Can't wait to see the finished product!
I'm guessing no speed bumps in that thing. ;)

wow.. this is great.. you all have such good looking vetts...
Yeah the turbo project is comming along. But basically every problem that can happen has basically happened. from stripping out the threads on the iron, unknown oil leaks from the turbos "AFTER" being rebuilt.. "that is my current problem but I finally figured out how to fix it." ummm the whole reason for me changing to a late 80's master cylinder is cause the stock one is directly in the way of the turbo outlet. umm.. other than that, it's just bringing her back to par, while taking her past par at the same time. My next step here that I am going to start investing in is interior...
Well thanks for the welcome.. this forum seems like it will be alot of fun.
