Default Clutch safety switch ???

does anyone know how to bypass or disconnect the clutch safety switch on a '75 ?? we think this may be why she doesn't start. it's not the battery or the starter---both recently new---just went out today and---nothing. interior lites
door ajar and key buzzer all fine but when you depress clutch and turn key----nothing. any suggestions.

My 75 has a switch on the clutch pedal. It is plugged into two heavy wires under the dash. If you wanted to bypass it just unplug it and make a jumper.

Mine has never worked since I have owned the car, If you want me to check it out tell me, and I'll check when I get home from work. But I'm sure it is just a jumper wire inbetween the contacts.

Just to add on to everyone else. A jumper wire works fine, but be carefull to note the gauge of the wire to this switch. It pulls a lot of current and a heavy gauged wire is required to make the jumper. lou
