Looks pretty good for vendor carpet.....All the stuff I saw from the vendors just looked too cheap...but urs looks good....Are those the original seats..i thought the 78's had those cool molded two piece seats

Alwyn, those were the original seats (if you can believe it)...the two-piece ones I believe were just for the Pace Car in 1978, then became optional for all models in 1979.

Nice looking interior. Can I have the cube walls you removed
Seriously, did you put down a heat barrier under the carpet? You'll be glad if you did. The job wasn't as hard as you thought huh? The hardest part I found was trimming only the padding. It was attached to the carpet, and had to be removed in spots for me to get the proper thickness under the shoulder harness retractor, and seat rails. The factory bolts were too short to reach through both carpet and pad. Nice job.... Good Luck :D :D :D

Yeah, silver...I had the same issues with the jute padding...especially under the seat rails...but where there's a will...

Hey Red,
Your 78 looks beautiful! I have the same carpet kit (black) sitting in the garage waiting for me to get off my big A-- and get busy.
Good to see the quality from Corvette Central... and the time you spent on it really paid off.
