Rear bearings and seals....need numbers please
Could someone please post the numbers that are stamped into the rear bearings and seals.
One set of numbers is unclear due to some wear on the face of the bearing.
Replacing them with GM parts is not an option over here as bearing specialists are far cheaper. Just need all the numbers to get the right ones.
Thanks.

Hey Brutus,
I don't have the numbers that you need but I plan on doing my rear wheel bearings soon.
If you have any special tear down and set up tips, could you post them? Pictures would be great if you can.
Thanks.
Mike

Baerings BK-LM48548 SKF, ????849 OWER, SEAT SKF k-m-86610-CL7A, SEAT K-LM 48510 SKF, SEAL B11, SEAL USA 19803.
I took these directly off the parts. The one that I don't know I will pull another off a axle and post it in the next few hours.
I don't know if this helps but you could pull yours out and take them to the bearing retailer and have him match them. I was going to do the same.

Here is what I currently have in stock:
The seal numbers seem to vary a little based on whose seal you have...
I included some GM numbers just in case you can have them crossed-
Outer- Old GM number 3794004
Newer number- 14079472 stamped B11
C/R- 15803 stamped 15803 (MEXICO)
C/R- 19803 stamped 19803 (USA)
Victor- 46435 stamped 46435
Inner- (old) GM number 3794002
C/R- 16757 stamped 16757
NAPA has their own numbers and NATIONAL does as well.

Re: Rear bearings and seals....need numbers please (Tom454)
Thanks gentlemen for the help and info. So far the only readable numbers I have are from one bearing face and it's accompanying seat. Both are Timken brands and both made in the USA.
They are bearing # M86649 and seat # M86610. It's strange that not one of these #s even comes close to those either of you have mentioned.
Hopefully I'll have a more distinguishable set of numbers when I dismantle the other side. Thanks again.

Bob
I have the Nos at home as I did mine last year. If you are prepared to wait until tonight I can email them from home. I used Timkin as well and the seals are the same as a mitsubishi hi ace (or the like).

The missing number of a bearing that I said was xxxx849 was in fact M86649 and I had a seat # K-M-86610-CL7A. Both of these numbers are the same as you got. These numbers are on the bearings and seats. The seal was B11 the same as Tom454 posted.

Just want to add that I ordered a rear bearing kit from Mid-America and was surprised to find the cheap Chinese bearings, needless to say they didn't go on the car. Went down to Autozone and found the correct Timken bearings in stock, although either the inner or the outer (can't remember which) was made in Brazil and not the USA. Have heard others say that these are a close second to the US bearings if you can't find the originals.
