Default Changing shocks - any secrets / tips?

Just as the title says, are there any special things to do to put new shocks on the C5?

Check out the link. I followed this when I changed mine. Went fairly smooth.

GREAT find - thanks!
Serious question, though - do I need to use Corona or can I use a micro-brew?

I use .032" safety wire, a lot stronger and easier than all the zip ties...

Depends on the time of the year, micro-brews are fine in months that have a "r" in the name (ex. February).

Compress the shock as much as you can and tie it up, or you will wish you had...

As long as it is American Micro-Brew, you are good...

Peace

Default changing shocks- any secrets/tips

HI There,
You bet aircraft safety wire .032" is what I would have used.
50 times stronger than electrical tie-offs,which should be used to secure wire bundles.
Glad it worked for you.
