Default Rear rack removed, what to fill holes with?

I got rid of the rack! There wasn't anything wrong with it but after seeing another white 77 just like mine without it...WOW I can't believe what a difference it is without it. Now for the hard part, what should i fill the holes in? and how do it fill them in? I don't really care about how it is going to look for now because next year its going in to be repainted. Do I have to be concerned with water leaking in too much for now? What are the odds of the filling falling through or cracking over time? Should I get a pro to this, or redo it when its going to be painted? The vette is my daily driver so i can't be without it for too long. thanks

If you just want something temporary, go to Home Depot or some other place that sells those chrome "plumbing plugs". These are the round chrome plugs, usually with a bolt and a toggle type nut that are used to block out unused openings on sinks. They come in different diameters. Use them to cover the holes. If/when you get the car painted, you can have the holes filled, BUT, the outlines of the holes will always show through after time. Chuck

My car used to have a rack, it was removed before I got the car. They put a layer of glass over the entire deck area. It worked pretty well and I can't see the holes even now that I know they are there...

BTW, My web site has pics of the car, which is also white :)

I used zinc plated hole plugs I got in the hardware draws at Lowes. Home Depot didn't have any. They push right in, no need to get in underneath with a nut. They look great and there cheep too.
