Default Fuel line leakage

Anyone have an easy fix for fuel line fitting leakage? The connection between fuel line and one of my carbs has a slight leak, despite tight fit. Fuel line and fittings all are relatively new.
Thanks

Loosen/tighten the flare nut several times. That may stop it. If it doesn't, take the lines off the car, snug the flare fitting into the inverted flare nut and rotate the nut around the flare several rounds and the tighten. Re-install on the car.

While yo have the line off the car, look closely at the flare for a split or off center flare. Either will require you to re-flare the tubing.

And avoid using stainless lines - the flares are harder than the brass seats in the mating blocks and fittings, and every one requires TLC in order to avoid leaks.

Thanks for the advice Mike and John. Mike, I haven't had a chance to try your fix yet but it sounds like logical.

Use teflon tape or paste on the threads, not on the flair.

Some hydraulic/fuel line shops have a copper "seat saver" that can be inserted that may conform to the bad flare. .cone shaped, 25 cents each
