track car update(acp roof/nitro jacks)
Pictured below is progress on cage to accommodate new ACP roof. The new roof allows the removal of the A and B pillars (no longer required with cage). That sheds about 40+ lbs from the car (especially up high where the weight is especially rotten) and allows us to expand the area of the cage almost 2" in all directions as the pillars and interior inserts are removed.
Below is shown one of the car’s nitrogen jacks.

Coming along great Tom!
Man...she's going to be fast!
Have you mentioned the HP/TQ?
Nice move going with the Jacks early, now you'll have something to play with during sessions!
I love the red and black paint scheme you have so far!

I was thinking about scrapping my plans for RR and just entering in a demolition derby. Then again with that big 427 Warhawk block, screw all that. I going with a Big Roots Cog Drive Supercharger and burn nitro methane. Let's take this baby to the NHRA Summer-nationals!

They are flaired at front and rear to provide an extra 2". That allows 345s rear and 315 front with no tubbing.
Kit avail in fiberglass or carbon. I purchased the kit in fiberglass for qtr panels plus carbon products: world challenge hood, front nose with ram air opening for radiator, front splitter/undertray, roof and rear undertray.

I had talked to Kerry when I was there and I think I need to change my rockers, nose facia, splitter then the under-tray which be comes a near complete redo
Thanks any way.
Will the Warhawk block cool as good as a C5R block in road-racing application?

Bob at EPP did the work on the engine/drive-train. We were considering both options. It was a tough call. From what I understand they both perform/cool similarly will, however I differ to Bob on that one.
