New Application of Dremel Tool (new to me)
While in Home Depot, shopping for Dremel Tool brushes, I spotted some "White Jeweler's Rouge Compound." I bought some to try out on my Coolant reservoir. The rouge works pretty good to removing that unsightly orange-brown crud on the outside of the reservoir. Just rub the compound on the reservoir and on a felt dremel tool buffing pad and then start removing the crud. It's that easy, but it is hard to reach way in the back on the reservoir. After cleaning the crud on the reservoir with the dremel, use 600 grit sandpaper to smooth out the surface. I also used the jeweler's rouge to "polish" the cadmium brake booster; however, I had to first use a wire dremel tool brush to remove the surface rust on the brake booster. Good luck cleaning and polishing!
P.S.: I think I am getting **** about cleaning up the engine.

I've done so many projects with my dremel. I can't even imagine how I would survive without it. My favorite is the little cutoff wheels. How many bolts, nuts and other misc. things have I cut with those wheels.

like the variable speed .. have the flexable extension too .. a great tool ..
the white stuff is called white lightning .. two basic types agents.. tripoli a cutting agent and red rouge or white lightning polishing agent .. the white stuff is usually used on white gold, platinum , the red for yellow or red gold(copper) .. you need high rpms and steady hands to get the best polish .. the dremel rpms is great for this too ..

My Mother in-law gave me one for Christmas a few years ago and I have since thanked her for it several times.
