Default To Anyone with a 05 Service Manual....

I have a dead OBDII port, can you tell me if there's a fuse associated with it? If so, which one?

Thanks in advance.

No mention of a fuse BUT page after page and step after step of what to do if a scan tool will not connect.

Maybe try the online Service Manual?

I'm showing that it's a 10 amp fuse located in the passenger footwell. It should be labeled "REAR FOG/ALDL/TOP SW". This fuse supplies power to the DLC.

Thank you to all of you for your efforts. I really appreciate it!

After checking the SDM, ECM, etc. the only other fuse that seemed related to my problem was the REAR FOG/ALDL/TOP SW fuse. I replaced it and am now back in business.

The fuse is in the passenger compartment.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For search purposes to help others:
DLC = diagnostic link connector
SDM = service diagnostic module

Good to know, somehow I think it will prevent me from getting stumped one day.
