This top fits the 84-88 1st design also according to the Mitchel Service manual.

2nd Design is Late 86-88
3rd Design is 89-96

Thanks for the post and th epictures. I have not opened ths box and it is sealed very well from the factory. What I do have to go off of is the Mitchel Service manual that the dealers use and here is what t said..

I wonder why GM started with this latch design, got away from it and then went back to it....

Thanks for ht eoffer but I do not evenown a corvette now. I go to dealer closing and buy up NOS stuff that might be worth something one day... That is why the cheap price on ths one..

here are some more pictures of the top in he box.. Anyone cna do a search and see that I have sold 3 or 4 diffrent tops to memebers and everything turned out good...
