Default AFR Heads

I am seriously considering a set of AFR heads. Where is the best palce to buy them? Can you get them directly from the mfg or is their another source.

blake
i forgot to mention 1 other way to run too much CR.
Call Comp cams, and Crane, tell them the problem and see if they can fix u up with a cam that will bleed off pressure at low rpm.

Also, BUBBA told me he could mill off the top of the pistons, no guarantee of course

Anyway i have AFR 73cc heads and they would be a good choice direct from AFR.

good luck

also switch to a Holley, your carb may be too lean and hard to tune.

I am pretty sure that you can get them directly from the manufacturer. There are also a few distributors (which I think you can get from the AFR web site http://www.airflowresearch.com ).

I bought mine off of Ebay, which may be a crapshoot, but it saved me some money.

Blake if your looking to buy the AFR heads, Doug Herbert sells them. They are located in NC, they say they'll meet or beat anyone's advertised price. :)

Thanks for the info. I think this is the way I am going to go. I want to get the
CR just under 10:1. How much performance should I expect over my 041 cast
64 cc big valve heads?
