My daughter wanted to post on Corvetteforum.com
Hi:
I help my dad on his 69 Corvette in the garage. We put carpet in last week. We are doing well on the car. The color is white. My sister Alkisti gets the car when it is done but I get the 99 Corvette when I’m older. I like working in the garage with dad.

Sounds like your dad is a cool guy, I'm sure he enjoys having you help him. Good luck with the cars :yesnod:

And I am sure that your Dad really appreciates your help! No one helps me with my Corvette but this is my friend Buffy who helps out when I am working on the computer and speaking with friends in the Forum. She doesn't know that she does not have a nose and I never tell her.

Eleni,
White Corvette's rule! If you guys are ever up here in Oregon, be sure to stop by and we'll cruise to Fin's Drive In for a burger and shakes. These are my helpers. They make sure nobody steals the bed while I am out in the garage breaking stuff. Take care.

Your dad should be made father of the year. There are alot of bad fathers who are raising their kids to like ricers and mustangs.

Hey Eleni,
Seems like you guys have a good team there.... Unfortunately I'm a one-man-team, but whenever someone comes to visit me I have them help me work on my car: my brother helped me with the differential, gas tank, and rear bumper, and my mom was a big help when I installed the carpet on my car--like you just helped your dad.
Not trying to introduce conflict in the team, but try to trade Vettes with your older sister--tell her you want the '69, because you know how to fix it... ;) :D
Keep up the good work!

Three of my four kids and my son-in-law have all helped on my Corvettes at one time or another. I really appreciate their help. It is a good opportunity to talk and learn new words from daddy. You also get to learn about one of the coolest cars ever built.:yesnod: Keep up the good work.

Eleni your dad is fortunate to have the extra hands there to help keep the Corvettes in tip top shape :yesnod: . My daughter is a bit young to help turn wrenches right now so she sticks to just helping co-pilot the car while dads drives ;) .

I would like to thank all of my friends on the forum for replying to our daughter’s post. She got a real kick out of having her posts answered and a big smile came across her face when I explained that 350 people had seen what she had written.
A few personal notes:
Bill, Pinky and the Brain is my favorite toon.
ORVette, both cars are white, white rules.
Corey, I think I would rather have you dating our oldest daughter. Her current boyfriend drives a Volvo wagon.
Desertwawg, Yes, child labor is legal for running up your post count. It is also legal to use their little fingers to fish out things that we can no longer get at on account of age or size.
Jim S., thanks for this posting and also for your past postings on steering issues, they have helped. I seam to recall that you were ill some months ago. I trust that all is better.
And all, thanks for helping me to share a precious moment with one of our daughters. I believe that after I am long gone (which won’t be soon because there is a lot left to do on the car) it will be the little memories of times together that will burn brightest.
