Default New track in North Texas

Sorry, I know this is regional, but I wanted to pass this along. I have watched the progress of this track on my frequent visits to East Texas. It is now open and looked pretty busy when I cruised by it last weekend. It is called Redline Raceway and it is between Dallas and Greenville about 26 miles east of Dallas off of I-30. Looks like they have tech and tune nights. Here is a link to the website. A little closer than the Ennis track.

Closer for you maybe. It's hell and gone from me.

If you go out there let us know how it is. Is this a 1/4 mile track?

I guess it would be a "road trip" from Southlake. This track is a 1/4 mile one.

I've heard that it is an 1/8 mile track. I also drove by it in Oct and it definately does not look long enough for a 1/4 mi.

I don't mind an 1/8 mi track at all, they are usually not nearly as crowded.

It is an IHRA 1/8 mile track.

(This from the IHRA web site.)

Oops, kinda hard to tell how long it was when I cruised by at 80, that 's what happens when you assume. There was no info on thier website. When I passed by it a couple of weeks ago it was packed, but again it is new, maybe later the crowds will thin out.
