Finally got a 1/4 mile time!
Well...two actually, but the second one was much better. :D
.9486 reaction (.6593 on my first run, but that was just luck. Gotta work on the reaction time)
2.2909 60 FT (I wheel hopped at the start. Gotta get launches down too)
6.2336 330 FT
9.5584 1/8 ET
74.46 1/8 MPH
14.7642 1/4 ET
94.02 1/4 MPH
My first run was 15.3534, so I improved almost .6 between the two runs. Lots of driver learning going on. I think with a better lauch I can at least hit the mid 14s.

Let us know if you make any more runs and what the times are. You could also put it in the performance registry if it's not already there. I still haven't run mine at the 1/4 track yet but hopefully will next spring/summer. Hoping to dip into the 13's with new dual exhaust but we'll see. I'll hopefully get the vette on a dyno later this winter and again in early spring. Sounds like we're fairly close on times.

WAY TO GO!!!!!!
Lose that 15 sec time slip. It don't count :D
First time out & bypassed 15s ;) , Good job! The times will get better & better. We'll make sure of that :D
Feels good to get that starting line adrenalin pumping, huh? I hope you got a good kick out of it. Did you mush a mustang or anything interesting in the other lane?

First run was a Camaro SS running low 13s.
Second run was a Chevy Super Sport with god knows what under the hood. They ran a 12.9 at 80mph. They were doing 89 at the 1/8 mi mark, so they did 12.9 slowing down.
I had a great time though. Really late start and a busy night, so I only got two runs in. I'll have to go back with an earlier start soon and see if I can get a bunch of runs in. Start improving. :yesnod:

The beginning of a condition you'll never recover from, "the need for speed".

 I love seeing people stretching their vettes legs, it's what owning a vettes is all about :yesnod: . Hope you don't get the horsepower fever, it can be VERY costly ;) .

Re: Finally got a 1/4 mile time! (Rockn-Roll)
Helmets are required for runs under 14 at RCR. So they already had those.
I'm not positive about a roll cage, but it wouldn't suprise me if they had that too...

Rockn-Roll.... A 1993 5.0 plus a 17lb Vortech supercharger plus 10" drag slicks equal low 11's at ATCO Raceway in NJ. Guess what else it equals without a rollbar and c-clip eliminators??? ...NO MORE MUSTANG AT ATCO! My friend was booted until he could pass tech inspection. So watch those numbers boys and girls... he hee :D
ps... NJ is infested with Supercharged Mustangs... be careful :p:
