Default Anyway to troubleshoot the alarm "brain box" on a '79?

Checking the circuits (wires) for all of the contact switches should be straightforward but I think the black box that attaches to the fuse panel is toasted on my car. It would be nice to have this thing working again, is there any info on how to fix them?

The anti-theft relay and flasher are under the shift console....Here is the circuit diagram for the alarm and power door locks. High resolution: double-double click to see.
