Last Sunday I decided to take my 79' out of my garage and out to the market. My car is covered in dust and tape that I used to quarrantine panels for painting. As I pull into the parking lot of the market, I hear a horn being blown amidst about a dozen other cars. I look over my shoulder and see a young woman driving a red C5 waving and smiling away at my Vette. I was astonished she knew I was driving a corvette, being my car was covered in tape and crud. Hell, even when my car was clean and polished, I rarely got looks from C-4 and C-5 owners. Nevertheless, it was nice to see there are vette owners out ther who appreciate tradition.
