Re: Picture of Lemans style headlights?? (shamby)
i do not have a picture avail right now but my 69 has Lemans style. Riksvet.com has some for $350.00. My
problem is that I only need the lights and hardware not the fiberglass pieces for the car. I would be interested
myself where/what kind of lights go in there...

redvetracr, I am talking about the piece that you fiberglass in after taking out the pop-ups. Actually the back of
the things are something else. I bought my car with only these "fiberglass inserts" for lack of a better work. I
need the lights/hardware. Riksvet said I have to buy the entire setup....

I am unaware of any "fiberglass piece" It sounds like you need the aluminum buckets the lights actually fit into. As stated above "Guldstrand", maybe they will split a set-up.I also think $350 is a pretty decent price for the kit.I have sold NOS plexiglas covers for $250/pr. There was someone selling a repro bucket on ebay in the last year but i`m not sure who or where.

TR69,
You must be talking about the kit for square headlights that was sold for a few years and took the place of the headlight buckets.
The LeMans kit is just as mentioned, aluminum bracket and plexi-cover.
I think Guldstrand (spelling?) sells the LeMans kit for about $400 less lights and H/W.
I keep trying to convince myself to put flares and the headlights on my 80 to get the road race look. Would really like to get an old race vette for autocross or solo1 (high speed events), but they are too expensive these days.
