I got really nice pair of genuine GM restos from Greenwood Chevy for $45 on eBay. They list them for $55 on their website:

The forum store sells them for $30 each w/o flags decal, $37 with.

Matt,
There were at least two (and possibly three) different inner door release designs in 1968 identified by the configuration of the back of the door release. If you're looking to replace either of the first two designs, you may have to call someone like Paragon's Vintage division to get the correct part. If you have the third design, or it doesn't matter to you which one you get then just about any of the aftermarket suppliers can sell you something that will function and appear to be correct from the front side.
Regards,

Re: Where can I get a good inside doorhandle?? (Rowdy Rat)
not sure what the difference is in the door handles but I have a set of a 70 thru 77, one needs a new emblem sticker and I think they sell for 5 or 6 bucks. Take 10.00 for the pair. If your looking for a used original try calling Ted at Vette Vision 814-766-3623 he has a lot of used parts and he also sells new and reproduction parts. :flag

Rowdy Rat's got it right. If you're into restoration with your 68, you might want to look for the original style. The first style was perfectly smooth on the back with no reinforcing ribs. The second style added two ribs. The third style, used from 69 up had 4 ribs. The 4 rib style handles are the common ones and I believe the ones currently sold in the catalogs. Hope this helps. What does your other "good" handle look like on the back? Chuck
