go to the true duel pipes. I have the glasspack mufflers w/true duels...oh wait...its '68...scratch that....
anyway, I like the sound of glasspack...I heard if you run the car up to temp for about 10 minutes, then spray cold water up the exaust, it will blow out the 'glass, and give it a whole new sound....but I doubt it, givin the source of where I got that information(not relyable)...anyone hear this?

If I were to take the sidepipes off my car I’d run aluminized 2.5” pipe, crossover (if not x-pipe), and stainless steel Dynomax turbo mufflers.

MY 68 HAS DUAL CHAMBERED, AND I LIKE THE SOUND, BUT: CHAMBERED EXH, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, IS CONSTRICTIVE COMPARED TO ALOT OF DUAL FREE FLOWING EXH SYSTEMS OUT THERE WITH FREE FLOWING MUFFLERS
