Anyone know the user on here by the name of Vetteguy. He lives in NH and I sent him a check for $30.00 to buy the top piece of the C3 windshield trim. That was last month and I still don't have the trim, and the check was cashed. I have his name and address but I would rather not post it. I only want to know if someone knows him, and could find out what the hold up is.
I have sent at least 1 e-mail per week with no response from him.

He contacted me about 6 weeks ago in response to my "WTB: Winshield trim" post in the C3 for sale section.

Seems like you are not alone. Geoff H apparently has had similar issues with vetteguy. There is an active thread on it.

VetteGuy did respond the day after I mailed the check saying that he got a new computer!! hmm... i wonder...

use the internet to your advantage...
use his address to do a reverse lookup for his home phone #.
maybe he can't figure out how to get his mail restored....(benefit of the doubt)

Ok.. I will see what I can find out with his address. Know of any good sites???

As for the new computer issue.. He sent me an e-mail from his new computer telling me he just got it setup. So, I KNOW that works.

go ahead and post his name, address, whatever info you have. We will do the research and let you know what we find out. There are several reports that indicate this guy has a habit of cashing checks and not delivering parts. MJ

I think something happened, he disappeared to me too. I HAVE bought from him before and the experience went over GREAT. He seems like a legitimate guy and I think something may have happened or something. Hopefully someone finds something out. I'm waiting on a reply from him. The last message I got was about his new computer and his internet being down! Do you have his phone number?

Ok.. My intention was NOT TO BASH HIM or call him a thief!!! I was not looking to do that, YET! I think waiting 30 days for him to send something is more then enough time. He could have his wife mail the item or something. at least have someone contact me letting me know what’s going on, but to cash my check and NOT respond to any messages is not right. No, I don't have his phone number. If you have it, I would like to call him and find out what’s up, or if you can call him and check what’s going on. I don’t think the Internet being down for the 26 days I have been waiting is a very valid excuse. He has my address and my PHONE NUMBER!! He could call me or have someone else pick up the phone to let me know he’s sick or something happened, and I would be fine with that.
