Possibility of these C5 seats fitting in my C3 ?
1998 Corvette Sport Seats Black Leather fitting in a C3 ? mine is a '78.
I am sure I'll need new tracks....but what you guys think ? anyone done this ?

They will fit...but you have to get new mounting rails and seats that are (non) power..{Some drilling required)...They may stick up a bit too high as well

I think I've read this (and you may have heard it): didn't the early C5s have problems with the upholstery wearing out prematurely?

I have a pair of 99 C5 seats (with power) sitting in my closet. :D :D Even if I pulled them off of the C5 rails and mounted them on C3 rails, they will sit too high ("2-3"). I bought C5 seats with the full intention of cutting out and modifying my floorboards (lower) to install them with the power motors. My floor boards are fiberglass with some steel inlayed for bolt holes, yours are metal. If your willing to do some metal work, you could probably make them work. I'm going to install mine when the body is off so I can modify the floor boards easily.
