Default 73 AIM

Was just going through the AIM for my '73 and discovered I have a page missing. Anyone got a 73 AIM and able to scan the page and share with me?

I am missing UPC 8D Sheet 1. This would be the page for the evaporator canister hose routing for the L48 and L82. Mine has two pages (dups) for the LS4. My AIM is from Mid America and their page numbering is page 329.

Help :)

My aim is the same as yours.

Page 329 and 330 are the same.

Sorry

Hi Tom73 and trw
I have a assembly manual for the '73.. I have a different page 329 versus 330. It looks to be correct for the small block. In the discription block it states 8D sheet 2, but it is different than page 330. I would be willing to send a copy by mail...(at no charge)... all that is needed is your street address... Its about 730am California time and will be leaving for work shortly... I will check my e-mail tonight...

Well still striking out.

Any one have the missing page, UPC 8D, Sheet 1. The one needed covers the L48 and L82. Sheet 2 is for the LS4.

Anyone????

Mine is like yours. I think I see why they were treated as unique pages. One has details for the A.I.R. hose routing to that side of the engine.

You will note that page 330 shows a metal tube from the carb to the PCV valve while page 329 shows a rubber hose: this hose is fastenened to the AIR hose, that is why the AIR parts are shown. Also part numbers are different and the revision block is blanked out. I believe page 330 was the original sheet and page 329 was an updated sheet. I suppose they figured the sheet for the 350's was not needed. By the way what does the 1YA00 in the title block stand for: is it not the standard Corvette.

Roger,
To me it looks like the drawings with the AIR hoses is an update of the other since ALL 73s came with the AIR system. But the two still have the same page number. So still looking for Sheet 1.

By the way what does the 1YA00 in the title block stand for: is it not the standard Corvette.
The 1YA00 is some type of designation for the Corvette, don't have the AIM here at the office, but the code is listed somewhere in the front of the AIM.

In the NCRS Judging Manual on page 88, AIM page 8D-1 is shown. It is not real clear, but the hose routing can be made out. After New Years I get back to work and make a copy and mail it to you.

Roger
