67 Corvette 427 Tri-power Take Two...Now COMPLETE!
This one is actually a build for a customer who has a real one of these. From the start, I had a problem since there is no red stinger stripe decal available, so I actually had to mask that off. It took alot of work to get the lines perfectly crisp and straight. Getting the rims in the tires was also fun, as the tires` openings were just a little small. Again, this one is pretty well detailed, with scratchbuilt parts, lables on chassis components, chassis chalk markings, and wire and hose "text".

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
Not in this scale. Well, I mean I could, but it would require cutting off the roof and the better part of the tail panel and scratch building the replacement panels. I could do it, but I would be a major project.
There is a kit in 1/25 scale though.
Heh heh. Thanks. Seriously though, I am a little unsure about how much longer I will be selling these. I have a couple projects lined up, but they may be it after this one. With the time and effort spent in this one (as with the previous one), I would be much better off working at Wally world part time. I may wait til I am retired and have time to do this. So it may be a long 35+ year queue.

Looks awesome...why the real owner has white letter tires on an otherwise unmolested C2 is beyond me...I think I would have bought some Cokers to match the model kit...

That is outstanding!! I hope the real car has a paint job that nice. One tiny suggestion I have is that next time you might use some very fine piano wire for the antenna:

Thanks again everyone. Sorry for the late post, but for some reason I don`t think I was getting emails on this thread.
About 50-100 hours, depending on how things go. That`s the biggest expense. Other than that, the kit can be bought for about $45-$80 on Ebay. For the materials I use, if you were to buy them outright would probably be about the same as that on top of the cost of the kit.
