REMOVING FRONT PLATE...
REMOVING THE FRONT PLATE & MOVING UP THE CENTER GRILL MADE FOR SOME INTERESTING READING AS I HAVE A "72".HAS ANYONE NOTICED AN INCREASE IN AIRFLOW FROM THIS RESULTING IN A NOTICABLE DROP IN ENGINE TEMPERATURE???

The factory style chin spoiler makes a big difference in engine cooling.
As does the absence of the front plate.

Mine came stock with a plastic "1 spoiler on the lip at the bottom of the lower valance. I made my own 3" from black conveyor belt material. I made a cardboard mock-up, then cut it and bolted it to the 'glass. It's nice because it deflects if you hit something solid (like that cat I dusted the other night). You can see it in my sig, but I'll send you a detail if you want. No offence to the cat folks, but I don't risk my life (or my car) for animals that wander onto the road.
