Can I have your latest opinions on the Martz IFS
I'm finally on solid ground financially and actually have enough to spoil my car/me this winter. Trans is already out/broken. Fixing that. I live in Maryland and am only about 3 hours or so from Martz. I followed the threads very carefully, but would like a more condensed and up to date one. Thanks Gordon.
What alighnment settings would I use?? Does Martz have a setting figgured out?

I'm in the final stages of completing my car. I am currently running brake lines and waiting for Santa to bring me enough money to purchase a steering column (and associated hardware). Other than that the car is ready to go. I may try to start it later today if it warms up a little here. Obviously I can't give driving impressions but I'm pretty satisfied with the way it went in and the workmanship appears excellent. I am a little concerned about the lack of a sway bar but will wait and see how it drives.

Gordon,
I know we are not real far from each other and for what it's worth I am pretty sure I will end up going with the Meyers set-up. Read a lot here plus know a local guy who put it in last year and swears by it....I don't know anyone, other than what guys here on the fourm have said about the Martz product. It may just be a matter of preference.....

I talked to a guy here that has a Martz IFS on a street rod. He has had it like 15 years. He does not like the ecenteric to adjust the alighnment, says it does not always hold. Isn't that the way OEM camaro's and such did it??? Looks like the Meyers unit you adjust the length/shape of the A arms with the spherical bearings.
He did say it's been on his car a long time.
I would have to believe it's worlds better than what I have now.

Thanks guys!!!!
"Well I just looked on the Meyers page and they want 3140." I'll go to their website and look around.
"Remember to add in the cost of a steering col. also." I bought a body with a rolling frame and that's about it except I got the windshield so I was already looking at the IDIDIT steering column.
"a quick tally of my receipts to install a TCI IFS is about $3200, complete and ready to drive." Thanks Bill for that. I wonder what the rear costs. Oh well I have time.
Thanks again!!!
