Wilwood Caliper brackets!
Well after many hours of measuring, test fitting, stress analysis, waiting and machining I am the proud owner of a set of beautifull CNC machined caliper brackets for the Billet Dynalite calipers.
The pictures below are pretty close to the final design, the only real change being a LOT more material around the upper spindle bolt. We put so much material around the bolt that the splash shields are no longer useable.
I don't have them on my car yet and it looks like I won't get them on till spring since it going into storage in about an hour :cry and they won't be back from the anodizers for 3-4 days
Oh well, just another reason to anticipate spring....

Re: Wilwood Caliper brackets! (Racer16k)
There are two reasons to use the Dynalites
Cost, the Superlites 6's would cost $600, these cost about $200
[Edit]
Also Wilwood didn't seem to think there would be a whole lot of difference between the calipers except for all out racing...
[/Edit]
These are meant to be a replacement fot the Stock calipers.
I would like to make an all out brake upgrade using 13" rotors, aluminum hubs and ultralight 6's. But for now I need a stock replacement caliper

Why not use the Superlite caliper?

Re: Wilwood Caliper brackets! (427V8)
I can help u with the 13" disc design. I have them on my race car using vet uprights. The car has just been rebuilt and i wont be stripping it for a month or so now (after next race). When i do ill take some pics of the bracket, rotor hubs, caliper mounts etc..
If you want, if not let me know, i wont go to the trouble of pulling them apart.

Xrated;
So you have 13" rotors on Vette spindles??
Then I AM interested...
What are you running for rotors?
Are you running hats or do you have new hubs?
Whose calipers are you running??

Hey Keith, just noticed that you're in the Twin Cities. Do you go to any of the local shows/runs? Are you in a club, if so which? I just hooked up with Classic Vettes, but haven't been to a meeting yet. See my web page for the events I've been to so far.

These are 13.5" rotors i think. Also these calipers are from a 2lt Touring Car. I had different calipers on there last year, still 4 piston. The name escapes me atm. I cant take any pics of the upright/spindle atm. But u can see the top of it in red.
