Headlight actuators
What's the correct color of the headlight actuators on a '70? And where could I find it? Thanks in advance!

They are a goldish/yellowish dichromate plated finish. The closest thing you'll be able to do yourself is a kit from Eastwood to duplicate the finish. It's about 4 different spray paints with instructions on the steps and procedures to apply them. Even then, it won't look 100% original.

If you don't like the painted look (it won't fool anyone but it does clean up the actuator) you can send yours out to have a new finish put on it.

Mine were pretty messy, and being that I am not going for a Bloomington gold car or a perfect trailer queen show car, I went with the chrome covers. They install in a few minutes and in my opinion look great.
