Re: A few interesting Vettes for sale. (The Wanderer)
I can't believe some of the prices considering the saging economy. 70purplelS6 couldn't sell his BB beauty to $13,500 but these guys keep asking the high prices?? I guess they've established a price they need to meet. Sometimes I think I'm fortunate for acquiring my '70(regardless of condition) for $7,000!
What ever happened to that red C-2 you were thinking of buying? The one in the field?

Re: A few interesting Vettes for sale. (1970 Stingray)
They finally put a car cover on it so I guess it means more to them than I thought. I agree about the prices, but the vettes I posted seemed reasonable for the mileage/conditions. Even though the economy is down, I really don't think it will hit the C3's value as much as the C4's & used C5's. I think C3 prices have been pretty low for so long, that many people started buying them and more are seeing the beauty of these cars everyday. Until I bought mine... I always thought I wanted a C2! Now, I love the lines of the C3 over all other Vettes.

I agree on the pricing today. I don't know how things are where you are, but here in CT the economy is falling like a rock in water. Vettes that people were holding on to last year are dropping in price. A lot of mid 70's cars going for between $3,500- 6,000- they all need some kind of work but last year the same cars were going for $1,500 more.Another example: I looked at a 71 coupe needing the interior to be put together but with parts ,SB & 4 spd numbers matching, and new paint for about $10k last month - don't think it sold.
