Why black?

I´m with red or color matching the cars paint........

Nevertheless, seems to be a clean and glossy job!
Have fun bolting them on! Use the correct torque on the bolts and take a torque wrench, please.

Well no real "red" would match my burgundy. And if i ever get it repainted any other color it just wouldn't match. Black is very neutral :)

Black is also the original factory color for calipers. You really can't see much of them behind factory mag wheels. Can't see them at all on rallye wheels. Chuck

Haaa yes now I see the "stainless steal sleeve" ...from here I'd say they wouldn't have rusted in the first place. But they look good in black! Btw Jenny if merlin isn't there to host your pictures, just send them my way, I can host them easily too.

Nope, the sleeve is inside the caliper...they are what the pistons slide into. The stainless ones are better because they won't wear out like the stock ones.

Looks good though, Jenny. Another thing I should do this winter, although by now, am going to have to get out the wire wheel first! :smash:

Nice! I went with red but black was a close second.

I have the same car as you. Ext. Color is the same but my int. color is white. I painted my calipers red and I think it looks great againts the burgundy... Black would also look good. Those are the only two colors I would paint them.

Black looks nice. What about silver (now that you're done). Silver would go with just about anything. :jester

That looks great. What kind of paint did you use? I used engine paint, it's holding up well. Just don't get brake fluid on it.

POR-15 has a paint called "METAL MASK". Looks like new metal. If you get some -SPRAY it, don't brush it on.
