Default Driveshaft Balancing

In my constant struggle to de-vibrate my vette, I'm thinking of pulling my driveshaft and half shafts out to check the balance. But I'm not sure how to do that. Is this something I can do myself, do local shops do this, or do they have to be sent out?
Thanks!

I would say you can't accurately balance it yourself, Ask around, any machine shops will know who can do it.

It's something you should have done at a shop. It's a lot like balancing a wheel. Don't know what they would charge for a Vette, but a local drive shaft shop here in FL charge $30 to do my Z28 shaft.

Most transmission shops can do it or tell you who can. I just dropped mine of to have it shortened and balanced.
