Default Insuring my C3 as a Daily Driver?

I have a '75 that I love to drive, and since May, I have driven it daily. Renewing my insurance, I realized that the assumed value of it is somewhere around $4,000. Now, the engine cost more than that... I want to continue to drive my Vette daily but I do not want the insured value to be $4,000 and I am willing to pay more for it. Is there any way I can get insurance for an assumed/stated value that will cost more?

I know there are classic car insurers, but I don't want to drive something else daily.

How can I get around this? Thank you for all of your help!

Cheers,

Stephen

VolVette, just go to your local ins. company. Most will sell you a stated value policy at a price per $1000 of value. Depending on how much you want to insure it for, you may have to get an appraisal as proof of value. I have mine with State Farm Ins. and have never had a problem getting one. Hershey :chevy
