Default Winter Storage In Heated Garage

Since I have a heated garage I was thinking of starting it every week, letting it warm up, shift it through the gears (auto) and running the air conditioner. Good idea or not? Is there an oil additve that I could use to prevent dry start ups or are they just snake oils?

I wouldn't bother starting it unless your going to actually drive it.

I agree. starting it up and letting it idle allows condesation to build in the exhaust and oils. I would AT LEAST drive it around the block to get it to operating temp. Otherwise you might start forming problems.

Having a heated garage I don' think condensation would be a problem.

I still think that a heated garage is not as warm as the idling exhaust. If you are not driving it, you are not forcing the condensation out the tail pipe. Even in the summer, water comes out the tailpipe.
