I have a couple coming to look at my '70 the weekend after Thanksgiving...I am nervous about selling it...I never thought I would have such mixed feelings.

I know how you feel Eric. I put the '81 up for sale last year and got
so many calls that I took it off the market. I got a sick feeling just
thinking of someone else driving it away from the house. Maybe late 2002
I might try it again. I think maybe if the replacement was in the garage
it might be easier. Not sure.....

My feelings exactly! But if the replacement was already in the garage, I wouldn't have to sell the'70!!!!! No there's an idea!!! If I wait a few years, maybe I can just add a second Vette to my driveway...

Eric,

I kinda felt the same way when I sold mine... I was Ok with the deal, getting the money, transferring the title, letting him drive the car out of the garage.

Then as he drove it up the trailer, at that point I realized - it wasn't mine anymore :(

Go for the additional Vette, but keep this one if you can. It is a beautiful car.

BTW, how's the weather down there? I'll be in NOLA Tuesday night to Friday morning.

Eric you have to keep that thing man, she's a beaut! Not enough fine vettes like that in LA man you gotta keep her here! I'd buy her but I'm only 16 and one vette is hard enough to keep up with financially.

I don't know? Did you have a for sale sign on your car? This guy looked hard at my car and never asked the price, I knew he was for real. I had a couple of tire kickers that were lookin for that DEAL. My guy called a couple of days later and BOOM, before I knew it I had the cash and he had a vette. He is from the N.O. area and I told him to join both clubs and the NCRS, so you may end up meeting him? Thad :smash:

Yeah, I had a sign on my car. One of Bob Leed's friends is supposed to come look at it tomorrow. I know I am probably asking too much...but that is what it is worth to me. We'll see what happens.
