Need help with shopping list and other ?s
I am ready to spend the money. I am going to order Trick Flow Heads and RPM Air Gap Manifold.
1. I am going to go with 64CC chambers. (Stock 76cc made 9 to 1 cr). 64CC should be about 10 to 1???? What size head gasket should I use.
2. How difficult can angle plugs be? Are they worth it?
3. What else do I need to do the job so I don't have to go back to the store? (ie. head bolts, what gaskets???? etc.)
Thanks....

Re: Need help with shopping list and other ?s (Rob's 73)
note- with aluminum heads get bolts that are made for this..the stock Head bolts make it hard to get accurate clearance for Torque without removing the valve assembly.
I was going to go the same route but then went complete RPM set so they all match each other...cam/heads/intake....what cam you got ?
check my web site for mods and upgrades...also I have a dyno desktop by rainman...

Good choice....
1. I used FelPro 1010 head gasket
2. Angled plugs are no sweat. Important to TFS' kidney shaped chamber design.
3. See below....
Stuff recommended by Trickflow:
Head Gasket: Fel-Pro 1010 (will not indent aluminum heads)
Intake Gasket: Fel-Pro 1205 ****Its important you DO NOT use an intake gasket designed for stock heads. The runners are taller than stock so you need an intake gasket that matches.
Head Bolts: ARP-134-3601 (6 pt.) or ARP-134-3701 (12 pt.)
Moly Lube: ARP-100-9902
RTV Sealer: Permatex Ultra Black #598BR (for intake ends)
Thread sealer: Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket #3H (for head bolts that go through water jacket)
1/2 in. pipe plug—Aeroquip FCM-3749 (for plugging unused temperature
sender hole)
Plugs: AC-FR3LS, Autolite-324, Champion-RC9YC, NGK-FR5
Go to http://www.trickflow.com/media/pr/pdf/23degree.pdf for a PDF of the installation manual that comes with the heads.
Good Luck....Mark
