Default Englishtown road course?

I read somewhere that Englishtown Raceway Park might be building a road course. Is this true?

I can't wait! I'm not much of a drag racer, but the road course sounds like fun.

From http://www.etownraceway.com

RACEWAY PARK ROAD COURSE
Raceway Park is happy to announce that we are in the process of building a ROAD COURSE. This track will be separate from all other tracks at Raceway Park.
The course measures 1.35 miles with 40 foot wide roads over the entire course, except for the 1,400 foot straightaway that is 50 feet wide. There is one (1) 90 degree left hand 16 degree banked corner.
This is a Technical Course.
There are approximately 13 turns. Some could be considered 2 turns.
The entire course will have lights.
Be prepared for the sound level to be on the quiet side. The actual db # has not yet been determined.

Tentative opening should be in the Spring of 2002, if everything goes as planned.

Information regarding times, prices, etc. will be posted here as soon as it becomes available.

I was there this weekend and saw parts of it paved already. I can't wait to give this a try. I love the drags but have always wanted to see if I drive around corners very good.

I was there last month for the Corvette Challenge / swap meet and missed it!
Are they building it on the other side of that lake? Sounds like fun when its done!

Drag racing is fun, but it's tough to beat a day of lapping on a road course :yesnod:
