I was told by a guy with 67cc WP Torquer heads that they would push the CR up 1.25 from the stock 8.5. Edelbrock told me their RPM 64 cc heads would push CR about 1 pt. Wouldn't the 67cc heads be less then the 64cc heads or I'm missing something ?

you are correct. and i would agree more with the edelbrock people. your stock heads have 72cc??? then i think you might have one point higher comp. with the 64 cc heads.
