Default Nice 100 mile drive, but not one pass at the dragstrip!

Took a nice 50 mile drive out to Island Dragway today, paid my $25 to get in, got flagged at tech for my bicycle helmet  so I had to rent a grotty helmet for 5 bucks, then I watched a few cars make their runs, then I got in line and waited ...... and waited...... and waited... They had a medical emergency and could not race until their ambulance returned. After more than an hour I eventually had to bail out and go home and didnt even see the ambulance on my way out. oh well...

It was a nice day for a drive, and Island Dragway is a neat track - very old fashioned, looks like a slice of the 60s! People were very nice and friendly. I will have to go back with my "raincheck" to hopefully make a pass and do some testing and tuning. MJ
