'74 Corvette - 93 miles!!! - L@@K!!!
Hehehe... that's what my odometer is showing right now. :jester
How many miles it actually has on it? Who knows... 100,093? Maybe even 200,093? All the documentation I have starts with an engine rebuild in '82, with about "45,000 miles", which indicates--correct me if I'm wrong--that this car either has 200,093 miles on it, or it was badly abused in its first years.
It was very cool to see all those zeros appearing yesterday.... :D I even bought the car a present for this occasion: a new set of trim rings (from Zip, 60 bux and no shipping charges--good deal!), which I'll probably receive tomorrow. :D

Must be nice to ridin in a new car again. I just put a new speedo in my 70 but had it was set to 22k. Could be 122k or 222k, who knows, who cares. :jester

That reminds me of a local car dealer. He is a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep dealer. He's always been a Mopar dealer and a muscle car nut. He has virtually every Mopar muscle car made since the 50's. And the catch is THEY ARE ALL BRAND NEW!!!!!!! I'm talking plastic on the seats no miles brand new, never even been in the dealer showroom. Everything from the old muscle cars to the vipers. It's pretty impressive to see. Of course, it's kind of hard to get a look because they are stored in a few different high security buildings. I just always thought that was kind of neat. I do think they should be in a place where they are displayed for people to come and look at. I would certainly be willing to pay a few bucks to take my kids and look them over.

I wonder if I should set mine to zero when I put the speedo back in..Shoot, it will be a brand new car by then and I don't think I will ever sell it.

Yikes Neil! That car looks hot enough without the body.

New car and with lots of "road experience".... I luv it! It's like dating a 20 years old girl with the experience of a mature woman! :jester
Yea, I think Neil's car certainly deserves a zeroed odometer.... :D
