i finally broke into the 12's!!!!!!!!
It only took me about 2 months.......
12.98 @ 108.57 mph
2.147 60 foot
Now im sure I can at least ht 12.8's since this run was with a 2.1 60 foot and ive had 1.99 before

I have only ran a car at the drag strip one time and that was over 20 years ago. I can see how it could be addictive. After I get my cars drive train squared away I'll have to give it a try just to see what we can do. I'm guessing that my driving skills will be the weakest part of the whole package.

Excellent run !!! With the mph you posted I'd guess that a low to mid 12 second run would be possible.

Looks like you need a little work on your R/T. At least you didn't redlight like the person next to you though. Great run though!

You should try slicks or drag radials. With a 108 trap speed, you should be in the mid 12's. 12.5-7's. Are you spinning badly or a little off the line? Slicks or Drag Radials should put you in the mid 12's. If you've got slicks going right now, then maybe try different shift points. Just for say, if your engines max power is at 5600 but you run it to the red line. That extra 1000 RPM or so, your not pulling as hard as you would be if you were to change gears, because once you reach max power, it's down hill on power from there. Another trick would be to remove your front sway bar. It will alow the front to raise up faster planting your rear better. Anyway..that just my thoughts. Great run!

i played with the image a little to make it more readable
nunus79, quite a few people have said that as well. Is it really that hard with a 4speed??

Aaron-74, that run was with stock 225/70 radial T/A's....i want to get a set of slicks on the back, but i know my clutch is on its way out, so im sure with slicks, the clutch would just slip like crazy.
